Lessons begin with an introduction to means of verbal and non-verbal debate and expand beyond the boundaries of conventional debate, allowing students to broaden their understanding of advance subjects. These lessons transcend into subjects such as politics, law, journalism, philosophy, ethics, social science and Human Rights - intended to diversify a student’s intellectual reach and broaden their global perspectives.
Not only does this range of topics allow them to articulate and defend their arguments whilst strengthening their own, but it also highlights the plethora of experiences available to them.
Why we do it
The ability to deconstruct your opponent’s argument whilst coherently defending yours is a skill many young people lack and something we aim to instil through a wide range of independent and group exercises designed to highlight their strengths. These activities allow us to enhance our student’s ability to listen and respond to opponents and distinguish between fact and fiction -a necessary skill required in an age where the boundaries of truth are blurred.
The art of debate involves acquiring intrinsic skills which include; confidently speaking in public, constructing logical coherent arguments, the ability to read the reaction of an audience and adapt your argument accordingly and creating a willingness to listen to the arguments of others. Most importantly, it stimulates a safe environment to allow every student to formulate and articulate their own ideas and views, freely.
Through mastering these advance skills this course would allow student to develop academic, social and emotional intelligence that would compliment a range of careers and avenues of employment. It gives students the opportunity to become successful debaters, compelling advocates, effective public speakers, and accomplished professionals with the ability to transform our world.

Our aim is simple, to champion new visions and cultivate a nurturing environment to inspire the next generation. We achieve this through our unique approach to learning that is passionately dedicated around implementing new methods, tools and strategies that harness creative potential. While instilling values of inclusivity and acceptance, we aim to guide students to build a concrete academic foundation and provide them with the means to apply this is a global context.
Each lesson has been designed by education experts and subject specialists, to provide students with a practical, realistic understanding of the sectors complimented by debate. Organised and methodical expression and delivery of ideas are matured through innovative tasks such as applying their knowledge of the 10 fallacies to governmental debates. To intensify the impact we have on students, lessons are kept intimate and interactive to embed the core skills surrounding debate.
